When I am not selling real estate, I like to travel. I have been to many different places, not only in the United States but also around the world.
Dubai remains the most exciting and mysterious place to visit. Out of the sand dune rise the skyscrapers and the most luxurious hotels. Like a genie in the bottle, and granted the most amazing structures from the Burj Al-Arab to the Palm & the World. Seeing is believing! The sharp contrast between a traditional Mosque to the most modern high-rise. It will take your breath away!
Greece is my favorite place to visit. People are friendly and warm. Athens is best described as a city of ancient civilization & culture. The Greek islands are just picture perfect. When the cruise ship arrived at Santorini, I thought I was in the most beautiful place on earth. The volcanic island has white adobe-style flat-roof structures, and the setting is simply spectacular. The Island of Crete has many cultural and historical sites, as well as a palace to visit. Mykonos Island is still Europe's most popular summer resort.
Italy is just delightful and a fascinating place to explore. From the Vatican City and Rome to the Tuscany Hills, Florence, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, all the way to Torino, Milan & the Lake region. There is so much to discover; I have seen Romeo & Juliet's balcony in Verona, to my favorite city of Venice. This is one country I must visit again.
Japan, the land of the rising sun, is the gateway to the Far East. From the ancient shrines and palaces to the temples of worship, the tradition is still intact. I really appreciate the art of living and the philosophy of Japanese culture. The minimalism and the clean lines have redefined the modern architectural designs. Suddenly, old is new again.
I graduated in 1985 from Syracuse University. I have lived in Chicago, New York City, and New Jersey before coming back home to Syracuse in 1994. I was a long-term resident of Camillus, and I am now living in Manlius. I grew up in Central New York, and I know the area well.
